Our EXSA event, the Virtual Conference in X-ray Spectrometry, is slowly taking shape. As you know, it will take place June 21-24 this year. This online event is in line with the now well-established series of workshops EXSA initiated in 2017.
This digital conference aims at bringing together experts and younger scientists from academia and industry to present and discuss recent advances, research results, and perspectives in the following fields:
We are happy that we could convince distinguished scientists (in alphabetic order below) to give invited talks at the conference (please check the conference website for updates).
Structural and Compositional Inhomogeneity in Thin-film Solar Cells
Our sponsoring member X-ray Spectrometry will edit a special issue with the proceedings of EXSA's conference. You may find further information about the Call for Proceedings on our website.
Furthermore, we are happy to announce the Wiley EXSA Poster Prize and the Wiley EXSA Oral Presentation Prize. These prizes are endowed with prize money by our sponsor X-ray spectrometry, and are aimed to put spotlight on young scientists presenting their work at our conference. The winners will be selected in the course of #EXSA2021 by the prizes' selection committee.
Our EXSA event will give a forum to interact with and within the community. It will allow for discussion between academic and industrial scientists and is, therefore, an excellent platform for networking and knowledge exchange. The event will conclude with a session on fundamental parameters and the meeting of the fundamental parameter initiative.
Contributions for oral and poster presentations are very welcome. The Abstract submission is open on the EasyChair platform.
The Abstract submission deadline is April 30, 2021. For further information please check the event’s website at www.exsa.hu/conf2021 or contact us (conf2021@exsa.hu).
