EXRS 2018: Call for abstracts published

On the website exrs2018.ijs.si of this year’s European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS 2018) in Ljubljana, Slovenia the abstract submission is now open. As for the last EXRS conferences and EXSA’s workshop on quantitative methods in XRS the easychair.org platform is in use to handle the abstracts. Please find instructions and the template at exrs2018.ijs.si. The abstracts have to be submitted by March 31, 2018.

Yesterday the International Advisory Committee of the EXRS conference series announced the place for the EXRS 2018. It will be hosted by the colleagues from the Jožef Stefan Institute and take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Welcome to submit your abstract for the 2016 edition of the European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS2016) to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, between 19 and 24 June, 2016. All the necessary information can be found here.
Deadline for abstract submission is April 8th while deadline for early registration is May 15th.

The EXRS2016 conference is devoted to the exchange of information and experience on the emerging and innovative techniques in the field of X-ray spectrometry and related areas. The conference will provide a framework in which scientists of various research areas will be able to convene and discuss X-ray techniques and their successful applications. A rich scientific and social program will allow experienced experts, young scientists, and industrial exhibitors to exchange views and start new collaborative projects.

Welcome to the 2016 edition of the European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS2016). EXRS2016 will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, between 19 and 24 June, 2016.

This conference has become a traditional meeting for scientists from around the world working in x-ray spectrometry. EXRS2016 is an opportunity to learn more about the latest in theoretical, experimental and applied XRS, to discuss with people from all over the world, to share your own work and to learn from others.

EXRS 2014 – New deadlines for Abstracts submission and Reduced Registration Fee

The next European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS) will take place in Bologna, Italy from June 15 to June 20, 2014. The Local Organizing Committee is chaired by Jorge E. Fernandez. The homepage of this conference is now online and can be found following this link: EXRS-2014.
The Call for Abstracts and Papers is likewise online. The submission procedure follows the one known from EXRS 2012 using the EasyChair conference system.

Proceedings of EXRS 2012 published

X-ray Spectrometry has published a special issue including the proceedings paper submitted for the European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry 2012 in Vienna, Austria. This issue (July/August 2013, Volume 42, Issue 4) is edited by Christina Streli and Andrzej Markowicz. Following the link you can find this issue online.

The scientific program includes 20 oral and 2 poster sessions and will start Monday morning at 9:30 a.m.
On Tuesday afternoon EXSA’s General Assembly will take place.

In 2012, the European Conference on X-Ray Spectrometry will take place in Vienna from 18th – 22nd June 2012. Vienna is one of the most popular congress cities in the world.
