PostDoc position available at LNHB near Paris, France
A PostDoc position (one year, renewable once) is available at the Laboratoire National Henri Becquerel (LNHB) which is part of the French Metrology Institute (LNE) and the Atomic and AlternativeEnergy Commission (CEA), and located in Saclay (France).
The candidate will contribute to the development of a new calibration facility for X-ray emitting radionuclides. The study will include an experimental approach to develop a reference detector that will be used for the efficiency calibration of X-ray spectrometers using monochromatic radiation. This will be applied to improve the knowledge of the decay scheme of X-ray emitting radionuclides to provide new references for applications, particularly to the case of nuclear reactor dosimetry.
