Developments in Instrumentation and Novel Techniques for X-Ray Spectrometry Applications
There will be an IAEA Technical Meeting on Developments in Instrumentation and Novel Techniques for X-Ray Spectrometry Applications in Vienna between September 28 and October 2. This Meeting aims at providing a forum for technical discussions amongst specialists allowing to review the current status, developments, and trends in X-ray instrumentation, analytical techniques and interdisciplinary applications, to identify needs and requirements for further improvement and optimization of the analytical performance of X-ray instrumentation and relevant analytical techniques, to support exchange and sharing of cross-cutting information and know-how between scientists working in research and development of X-ray instrumentation, techniques and analytical applications, and to provide recommendations to the IAEA and Member States on how to support and foster advances in the development of X-ray instrumentation and relevant techniques as well as increase access and utilization of relevant technologies by the IAEA Member States.
