Presentation of Fundamental Parameter Initiative at EXRS 2012
Monday, June 18 2012, at 13.10 h an update on the International initiative on x-ray fundamental parameters was presented by B. Beckhoff, M.-C. Lépy, and J. Hoszowska at the EXRS2012 conference in Vienna, Austria.
The following topics were included:
– the general objectives of the FP initiative
– the 2010 workshop in Paris
– the 2011 workshop at NIST
– the FP roadmap document
– the industrial FP project
– the new expert groups
During EXRS2012, there is the occasion to work on the implementation of the new expert groups. For this purpose the room MOE58 is available at the EXRS2012 conference site (VIC). Proposed meeting times for individual expert groups are Monday 16.30 h, Tuesday 15.40 h, Thursday 12.30 h and Friday 10.00 h. Additional times can be arranged for depending on your input and needs.
