The 4th<\/sup> International Workshop on Fundamental Parameters in X-ray Physics will be held on July 28th<\/sup>\/29th<\/sup> 2011 at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST<\/a>) in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.<\/p>\n

This international workshop is organized to bring together representatives of industry, standards laboratories, and academic institutions for whom x-ray technology is an important tool. It is the fourth in a series of initiatives dedicated to the improvement of the database of fundamental parameters used in x-ray physics.<\/p>\n

As with the previous workshops in this series, there will be no workshop fee. Travel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendees. This workshop takes place immediately before the 2011 Denver X-ray Conference<\/a> in Colorado Springs, Colorado.<\/p>\n

Further information will be sent to registered participants regarding hotels, a local area map, and\u00a0 the provisional agenda. Early registration is encouraged.<\/p>\n
