PTB at its Berlin-Adlershof site offers in its X-ray Metrology with Synchrotron Radiation department the following position
Doctoral candidate
in physics, chemistry or materials sciences
Three-year fixed term - Part-time (33.15 hours/week)
PTB uses the electron storage rings Metrology Light Source (MLS) and BESSY II in Berlin-Adlershof for metrological purposes. You will support PTB's X-Ray Spectrometry Group in further developing methods for high-resolution X-ray spectrometry for analyzing and speciating samples from modern technological processes or environmental media.
